About Us
I'm Betsy Rich . My husband Jamie and I have been married for 43 years. Our kids are grown so we filled our empty nest with Enzo, a 120 lb Bernese Mt Dog and Gizmo a 25 lb Corgi mix. They're known as the twins because they have the same paint job!

We are unlikely campers. I'm a former TV news producer based in London & New York and Jamie was an elementary school teacher. After retiring, we moved from New York to Colorado where we had a home-based brownie business. In our free time we traveled the world...from Africa, Europe, Tibet & China, to Iceland and South America.
After selling our business in 2022. I suggested that we buy a small camper so we could explore our own country and bring our dogs with us. "Jamie's answer was a firm, "No F%$*#@G way!" So I kissed him sweetly. 3 weeks later, we picked up our new camper, a 22 foot Wolf Pup. We named her Rhoda, inspired by the anthem "On the Road Again."

We fell in love with camping thanks to Rhoda. During our first summer, we explored more of Colorado; visited Washington State, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Utah, South Dakota and Kansas. We found a couple of wonderful campgrounds close to home so we could share Rhoda with friends and neighbors.

Jamie and I loved Rhoda but after our first summer we decided we needed a little more space, especially for our big dog who didn't have space to even curl up for a nap. So in the spring of 2024, we sold Rhoda to a lovely couple who were just beginning their camping journey. After lots of research, we bought a 26 foot Flagstaff 25SRK. She's our new Rhoda and we're planning lots of adventures with her. I'lll be blogging and posting on this site. Please join our adventures...On The Rhoda
